Millionaire Casino Review

07/12/2011 – Millionaire Casino is no longer accepting signups. If you’re looking for a good place to play online casino games for real money, my favorite site is Winpalace Casino.

We’ll say this for Millionaire Casino: It doesn’t rush a player. In fact, some players may start to collect their old-age pensions before the site responds. Millionaire must be aware of this defect, as its launch screen includes a dialogue message: “Connecting to Server. Please be patient.”

Operated by Tirofom Operations Ltd., Millionaire Casino tries hard to be a virtual version of a real-life gambling hall. Its games lobby from which everything launches is backed by audio that’s intended to sound like the bustle and buzz of a real casino. Trouble is, that background audio gets annoying really fast, and shutting it off works really slowly. Millionaire Casino’s server must have had some heavy-duty traffic during our first visit, because it took forever to do anything. We had to wait until a click highlighted the action button, and then we had to click again to complete the action.

Just to be fair, we went back to Millionaire Casino some time later and found it working a little faster. Give the site’s rich, high-quality 3-D graphics, we suspect it may be time for Millionaire to invest in a fast new server with the computing capacity to handle all the complex actions it’s trying.

Millionaire doesn’t offer the big variety of casino games, slots and video poker that some sites do, but with 60-plus games, there’s sure to be something a player can enjoy. After all, a player can only play one game at a time.

The site is big on tournaments, offering what looks like excellent play with substantial prizes. For instance, a coming weekend Blackjack tournament had a top prize of $5,000. Slots tourneys seemed to be especially popular. Total of progressive jackpots was $1.6 million on the day we visited.

Like most online gaming sites, Millionaire Casino is based in Antigua, where the Antigua and Barbuda Directorate of Offshore Gaming regulates gambling strictly, but welcomes online gaming concerns as national moneymakers for the island countries. Millionaire Casino accepts both American and International players.

One of the features we especially liked on Millionaire Casino was its system for helping players manage their bankrolls to avoid overspending. Players can set monthly spending limits, opt out of subscriptions and even block themselves entirely. Details are available by emailing limits@millionairecasino.com.
Millionaire Casino Website

Happily, the online casino employs an eye-pleasing array of colors, along with photos of models gambling, to illustrate its website.

The casino uses the popular and efficient Vegas technology for its online gaming. Unlike many sites, Millionaire’s online games are audited monthly for fair play by Eliot Jacobson, Ph.D., an independent third party gaming expert. Dr. Jacobson’s results and services can be reviewed at Certified Fair Gambling (www.certifiedfairgambling.com) and at Jacobson Gaming (www.jacobsongaming.com). The audits indicate that the chance to win for each game are fair and conform to the statistically predicted returns for each game.

The download version of Millionaire Casino offers 100 different games to play. Alas for Mac users – the downloadable software is an MS-DOS Windows program. It only works on PCs. If you use a Mac, you’ll have to play the Flash version online, and cope with the slow operation.
Millionaire Casino Games

Table games at Millionaire Casino include three versions of Blackjack, plus Keno, Craps, Caribbean Stud Poker, Let Them Ride, Red Dog, Roulette and Tri-Card Poker. Plain ol’ Blackjack was especially enjoyable on our visit, with a big, bright, easy-to-see board and a better-than-average rate of winning.

Slots screens also are big and visible — depending on the game played. We tried Solomon’s Mines, one of the 5-Reel Bonus Slots, and it was bright, colorful and very easy to read. This readability makes Millionaire Casino a good bet for seniors who enjoy gaming online, but who may need larger screen graphics because of vision issues.

The Progressive Jackpot Slots are enticing, but there are only four of them: Mega Money Mine, Red White and Win, Pay Dirt and Treasure Trail.

The 5-Reel Bonus Slots are where the big money lives at Millionaire Casino’s Slots. These include Sumo, The Right Prize, Independence Day, Black Magic, Solomon’s Mines, Fat Cat, X Marks the Spot, Supermarket, Safari, Daredevil Dave, Money Slot, the Reel Deal, Wheel of Chance, Mermaids’ Quest, Cleopatra’s Pyramid, Princess Jewels. What’s Your Sign, Jungle King, Monster Money, La Fiesta. In addition to these, there are 10 standard 5-Reel slots, six 3-reels and only one 7-reel, Lucky 7s.

Video Poker offers only 5 games: Aces and Faces, Deuces and Joker, Deuces Wild, Jack or Better and Tens or Better.
Millionaire Casino Bonuses and Promotions

We could find only two kinds of promotions on Millionaire Casino: a sign-up bonus and its VIP club.

New players get up to $5,000 matched on the first 3 deposits, $2,000 max, $1,000 max, $2,000.

The Millionaire Casino’s perks are all rolled into its VIP program, The M Club. Players are automatically entered in the various levels of the bonus club from sign-up as they reach the required point level. Points are earned throughout game play and can be redeemed for cash, merchandise and exiting sweepstakes. The site provides a table that shows how many points are required for each of the Amber, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond levels. Points earned per game increase with each level and are based on $10 of play. Bonuses also increase with each level.
Millionaire Casino Deposit Options

No minimum deposit is required to set up an account. Deposits may be made through BankWire, QuickCash, ECOCard, Neteller, Visa/MasterCard Credit Card, MoneyBookers, Click2Pay and UseMyWallet.

Has Account History that provides records of deposits, withdrawals and redeposits.
Millionaire Casino Support

This website scores big on customer support. There’s Live Chat online 24/7 and telephone calls open from 8 AM until 4 AM EST. (Wonder who gets the couch in the employees’ lounge for that four-hour hiatus between 4 and 8 AM?). Different toll-free numbers are provided for North America and other International callers, along with fax lines. Players need to have their full names, account numbers and user names ready when calling.

We also liked Millionaire Casino’s well-thought-out online support form. The support form lets players choose where to send email: Technical Support, Business/Marketing Development, Account/Credit Card Information, Payment Inquiries and Unsubscribe. That last option isn’t usually so prominent on a gambling website, so this shows a good level of customer care.

In addition to the usual links to gambling addiction groups such as Gamblers Anonymous, Millionaire Casino provides a link to an online financial self-assessment test provided by the Financial Services Regulatory Commission of Antigua and Barbuda. That’s a classy addition.
